Anonymous asked: What are some of your opinions of King Arthur?
First off, it’s all fanfic. All of it. There is no “original” King Arthur tale. Even out earliest text was written some 300 years after Arthur was said to strode the earth. None of it is original. Sir Gawain and the Green Knight? Le Morte d’Arthur? All have as much authenticy as Monty Python And The Holy Grail.
Secondly, why does Arthur have to be such a doofus in so many of these stories? I understand there’s certain element of a man who was great at war not knowing what do at peacetime, but it’s kind of odd.
Thirdly, Game of Thrones is about what happens after the death of Arthur, through the lens of the War of the Roses.
