I do have webcomics plans—there’s ASK COMRADE COCKROACH, of course, and I have two new web ideas on the way: JIGSAW YOUTH, which I’m doing with Diana McQueen and STAR STUMBLERS, with my ALL WRITE! partner, Natalie Metzger. Like COMRADE COCKROACH, those will be released independently of any major publisher.
The big wrinkle MonkeyBrain is doing is that they are saying that people will pay for digital comics, provided they are a) good and b) easy to acquire. That shouldn’t be a revolutionary stance, and yet, there it is.
So, I guess the answer to your question is two-fold: do I plan to release some digital comics? Yes, indeedy. Do I plan to release anything via Comixology? Not at this time.
Though, if MonkeyBrain was looking for more creators…
